At this year's Comic-Con, there were plenty of TVD spoilers that were released to the public. The Vampire Diaries is well known to be not that kind in treating its characters, as they usually end up dead or facing some grim future.
With this, the final season would surely be the most controversial of all with regards to the characters who will have a happy ending.
The most popular theory is that Bonnie and Enzo will have the happiest ending of all characters. The character of Graham was very unfortunate in the previous seasons. This year's season will be a hard one for Bonnie though. Julie Plec, the executive producer of TVLine, says that Bonnie's character will be paralyzed due to the incidents that happened last season.
But it is also safe to assume that this would not be that much of a problem because of Bonnie's strong and persevering nature. Most probably, she will think of the welfare of others just like Damon and Enzo's. Bonnie is well known to be selfless, so this is safe to assume.
Another most popular theory is that Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes will finally end up together. The couple has undergone a series of challenges in the previous seasons.
Despite the misunderstandings of Caroline and Stefan, it still leads to them being together. This is supported by the act of Alaric's blessing to the two. It was one of the best and favorite moments of the season when Stefan and Caroline kissed.
In the meantime, Alaric is still unfortunate when it comes to love as every girl that he had feelings over slips away from him. Jo dies on their wedding day while carrying twins. It sure is a devastating blow to Alaric. But despite it, the well-loved character of Matt Davis is still moving on in life.
Most importantly, the outcome of the "Delena" love team is one of the most awaited in this year's season 8. Damon is having a hard time moving on and chooses to wait for the comeback of Elena.
This is the main reason why Damon has a hard time overcoming the creature that is in the vault. Surely, he would have a hard time getting over her as the monster inside the vault keeps on speaking words that mimic Elena's voice.
There are a lot of things to be looking forward to in season 8 of The Vampire Diaries, so watch out and be patient for the release of its last season.
