Milla Jovovich Still Rocking It In 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' Official Trailer

The blockbuster film series "Resident Evil" is, sadly, coming to an end. Screen Gems released a U.S. trailer for the final film of "Resident Evil" officially titled "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter". Milla Jovovich, playing the protagonist, will reprise her role for the final time.

Milla Jovovich looks great as ever as the 40-year-old actress still got what it takes to defeat the flesh-eating zombies. It was seen in the trailer how Alice (Milla Jovovich) came back to the Hive, the underground facility in Raccoon City, to battle the company that is responsible for the zombie outbreak. Riding her motorcycle, she along with the other characters, battles it out with Umbrella Corp. who released the virus that started everything.

The fans and movie goers will be seeing old characters as well as new ones. According to Coming Soon, the film includes Ali Larter ("Heroes," Resident Evil: Afterlife) as Claire Redfield, Iain Glen ("Game of Thrones," Resident Evil: Extinction) as Dr. Alexander Isaacs, Shawn Roberts (Edge of Darkness, Resident Evil: Afterlife) as Albert Wesker, Rose ("Orange Is the New Black") as Abigail, Eoin Macken ("The Night Shift") as Doc, William Levy as Christian, Fraser James ("Law & Order: UK") as Michael, and Rola as Cobalt.

After six successful films with $915 million of ticket sales worldwide, "Resident Evil" is really coming to an end. Like the first six films, this one will have lots of actions, gory scenes and thrill in it. Variety said Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed the last three "Resident Evil" films, will direct this one too.

The movie is produced by Jeremy Bolt, Paul W.S. Anderson, Robert Kulzer and Samuel Hadida. Martin Moszkowicz (Constantin Film) is the executive producer together with Victor Hadida (Metropolitan Films). "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will be in theatres in the U.S. on January 27, 2017.
