When the image and video teasers leaked recently about the upcoming LG V20 and further strengthened by the specs and features reviews online, it can be illustrated that the successor to last year’s popular LG V10 will have the same modular capabilities as seen in the G5.
Android Authority had a great chance of getting a private leak on the upcoming LG smartphone. It reported that the renders show a button on the right that similarly looks like the module release button on the LG G5. Also, there appears to be a bottom lip, which could be detachable just like the LG G5.
Moreover, the exclusive photos divulge that the camera is likely to feature quite the hump and that the handset will be 7.7 mm thick, apart from at the thickest part of the camera, which measures 8.8 mm. Just like the G5, the V20 camera also appears to have what could be a secondary camera lens.
Another noteworthy resemblance of the LG V20 to the LG G5 is the power button that remains on the rear with an embedded fingerprint sensor in it and the volume keys relocated on the left. In addition, The V20 is expected to adopt USB Type-C like the LG G5.
LG V20 is the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat. we can expect a 5.7 – inch Quad HD display along with the Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM .
Despite the claim of the G5 being one of the most unique smartphones in the market due to its modular characteristics, it resulted to a failed attempt, unfortunately. It will be interesting to see if LG’s next flagship will prove otherwise.
The new device is set to launch in San Francisco, California on September 6.
