Good news has been confirmed for "Outlander" fans all over the world, as the show has been renewed for two more seasons. In fact, news has been spreading that filiming for the time-travel oriented show is currently in the works.

The executive producer of the show, Maril Davis, let out on twitter that one of the main roles they are currently casting for right now is the older version of Lord John Grey. Fans belive that the announcement confirms that Lord John Grey will be seen frequently in "Outlander" season 3.
Davis refuse to reveal more details for the third season, so fans are currently searching for more information on what to expect from the show. Even though "Outlander" is an adaptation of a series of novels written by author Diana Gabaldon, the production team is unsure that they will indeed be following the novel exactly.
The show has already started deviating from the storyline of the novel and still has gotten many positive reviews. The show is indeed entitled to make its own path on the story, especially when it comes to fully adapting the characters' backgrounds and characteristics.
