'Suicide Squad' Earns Whopping $13M On Monday, Bringing Total Earnings To $146M

The movie Suicide Squad is expected to earn up to $51M - $54M in the 2nd weekend of the show. According to reports, Bart & Fleming has said: "One of Us makes a startling declaration: He liked 'Suicide Squad'." Initial reviews of the film have been negative while fan reactions have been a mix of good and bad.

There is a decline of 60% to 61% from what the movie had sold from the August-record debut of $133.7M. But even so, the decrease is not as low as the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice which was 69%.

The fortune of the Suicide Squad was mostly because of the young viewers aged 35 and below. The people in that age bracket has flocked the cinemas and bought tickets. 76% of the generated income came from these people. This even helped the film to garner an A-Cinema score. The critics were lying low for now because of the comparison with Batman v. Superman.

David Ayer's movie earned $13.1M which is one of the best for the new releases in August. This surpassed the Guardians of the Galaxy movie on August 4, 2014 that earned only $11.7M. Suicide Squad is still showing in the Fandango. It is still the latest and top 'advance-ticket seller' for the week. It is also important to remember that there are still upcoming movies that surely are a must-see.

This includes the animated movie that was produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg entitled 'Sausage Party'. This is produced by Sony/Annapurna and is R-rated.

The has been reported to top 'Neighbors 2' with $21.8M and 'This Is the End' with $20.7M. Sony is assuming that the Sausage Party will earn at least $20M. The estimated production cost of the upcoming movie was said to be $19M.
