iOS 6 Set To Have Dedicated Facebook Integration?

Apple’s is expected to unveil something special at the forthcoming Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). This has given ground to a host of rumors as to what the company will bring forward for its fans at the meet. One such rumor states that Facebook will be deeply incorporated into the latest version of iOS (iOS 6).

According to a previous TechCrunch report, Apple's iOS 6 is set to feature an indigenous social networking feature that will enable seamless access to Facebook via iOS devices. The report further states that such a move will arrive as a massive boost for the world’s most popular social networking site.

Some information can also be gathered for the fact that Apple CEO, Tim Cook at a conference last week had asked users to stay tuned for more updates, after he was asked why Facebook, unlike Twitter, was not integrated with iOS.

Another source, 9to5 Mac has claimed that the social networking giant will have a strong presence in the Photos app. It says that there will be a feature to directly post pictures to Facebook, which is pretty similar to the newly released Facebook Camera app.

Added information from that report also claimed that standard Facebook 'Like' button will also feature on iPhone, iPad and iPod app pages. This will allow users to 'like' an app and later share it on their Facebook Timeline.

Stay Tuned for more on this topic in the future.
