The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated games slated for release next year. When its demo was showcased at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) back in June, fans were just so eager to to try it out, lines of people were seen leading up to the game's exhibit. So far, here is what we know about the upcoming title from Nintendo.
The Temple Of Time Returns To The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
For players of Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, the arrival of The Temple of Time to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is surely nostalgic. It was first showed at E3, but it was only recently when the studio gave fans a deeper look at its features and whatnots.
According to Polygon, the ruins surrounding The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Temple is a complete departure from the original found in Ocarina of Time. In the said title, the sacred towers just standstill past the so-called Hyrule Castle Town. But now, in the new installment, The Temple of Time is situated nearby the Great Plateau as well as in the Shrine of Ressurection.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Weapons
One of the things that makes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild different from its predecessor is the game's weapons. Now, players will be treated to weapons with various stats and durability ranking, as noted by the International Business Times. Even the strongest item, regardless of its features, is likely to break, forcing players to adjust and use their whole inventory wisely.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Arrows
In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, arrows are also given a notable tweak. They will now function differently compared to how they worked in previous titles. This is especially true with the case of integrating Link on either the Wii U or the NX. Arrows in the upcoming game will have different types, with each of them having their own inventory space.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild And Iconic Accessories
Anyone who has played even a single game know that Links play an important role; however, for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is going to be totally different. The game, in its most organic form, wants players to give more effort on collecting the so-called iconic accessories. For instance, although the Great Sword was seen in the Great Plateau, it could not be accessed.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is slated to arrive in 2017 for the Wii U and NX. As of this writing, it is yet to receive a specific release date.
