Pokemon Go Tips And Tricks: How To Recover From A Soft Ban

Niantic Labs, the creator of the trending augmented reality game Pokemon Go, is now continually banning players who are constantly doing cheats on the game. Upon doing the cheat, players can get a soft ban or even worst the permanent ban. This article will help you un-ban your account from receiving a soft ban.

Soft ban is a type of ban that will restrict players to catch wild Pokemon and collecting items through Pokestops although they can still roam around the game. According to Movie News Guide, the cause of the soft ban comes with several cases but it comes with the most common one: the GPS spoofing trick.

Apparently, Niantic is not pleased with players hacking through their GPS and jumping in and out through their desired location without making a step. It is clearly an insult to one of the game's main goal that encourages people to go out and catch these cute tiny creatures. Luckily, soft bans are just temporary. According to some sources, the ban will just last for about a couple of hours. Perhaps, the duration of the ban is based on the distance the player that is trying to cheat from Pokemon Go.

But if you are not patient enough to wait, you might want to try this trick to quickly remove yourself from receiving a soft ban. Just simply find a Pokestop and click-and-swipe the circle repeatedly for about 30-40 times. After that the color will change to violet signaling that the soft ban is now removed.

In addition, for those players who are experiencing some questionable ban, you can write an appeal to the developers. According to Heavy, Niantic has introduced a new ban appeal system where players can send their appeal to the developers if they felt that they are unfairly banned from the game. Though, banning is necessary, there are still a few cases of unjustified banned account. In order to access this appeal, simply click on this link and it will redirect you to the request form.
