Tech giant Apple has launched beta 6 of iOS for developers to test it on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The upcoming iOS 10 will come with a revitalized look to both Apple Music and News. In addition, it highlights lots of new features to the platform. The software update will most probably be ready to the public sometime next month. With the release of the beta 6 developer version and the public release of beta 5 of the new iOS 10, we may able to take a peak on this new iOS' beta version.
According to 9To5mac, the upcoming iOS 10 will include lots of improvements and new features. The redesigned News and Music apps is also highlighted to be included in the package. More from its new highlighted features are the redesigned Lock and Home screens for widgets, lots of iMessage features in Messages, HomeKit's first Home app and many more.
The iOS beta 5 was released to the public on August 9. The version includes minor changes on AirPlay icon, new lock sound, new Home app wallpaper and tweaks on the widget UI. On the other hand, according to Tech Radar, the final iOS 10 is expected to have several more features aside from what is mentioned above. This includes rich lockscreen notifications that enables users to use 3D Touch to reveal hidden menu actions. It will also come with a clear all notifications button that will have your device the ability to clear all the notifications with 3D touch.
The new iOS 10 will also have improvements on Siri. According to some sources, Apple will now open Siri to third-party developers which means it is expected to have third-party apps for the Apple's AI. With the continuous development of the upcoming iOS, it will likely have some major tweaks on its features and the tech giant will ensure a more stable version. It may take some time but it is worth the wait.
