The world-wide hit game Pokemon Go has been out for some months. While others are now enjoying the game, some were not able to have access to the game yet. Millions of players from around the globe are having their own struggles on logging into the game. However, it was confirmed that the game was a huge success based on the amount of downloads and positive review it has received. Niantic Labs, the game's developer, is now reportedly talking up what new features the game will be offering on the next update.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke, discusses the future plans of the Pokemon Go game as it excels moving forward. It was previously confirmed by the creators of the game that they would not allow to trade Pokemon. Many have sent their sentiments that trading is essential in the franchise. Aside from capturing this tiny creatures, trading also just as important. If the trading features will be considered on the next update, players are now able to trade Pokemon in-game. You can trade them with your friends or even to strangers.
According to N4BB, it is also expected to have some tweaks on the feature of Pokestops and Gyms. It is likely to be much better and more interactive than before. Basically, these features are just in their basic forms and will be improved with the next updates. Although Hanke does not elaborate the idea, it will be expected to have leaderboards and better augmented reality setting soon.
Niantic have been working to improve the game's real-world overlay features but there is no further information yet on which particular area of the game they will make improvements on. Other expected additional features on the future updates are the most anticipated trainer's battle which is rumored to be out by year's end or by early 2017 and additional Pokemon which is most probably the Gen II on May 2017. Nonetheless, the said dates are just estimated based on the state of the game and may change in the long run.
