The trailer of the new Batman animated movie has been released for months now and in addition to that, the actors to voice the characters have been revealed. Despite it being animated, the original actors of the classic Batman series are coming back to reprise their roles, in a manner of their voices.
Adam West and Burt Ward returns as Batman and Robin
There have been reports now confirming actors Adam West and Burt Ward will be reprising their roles as Batman and Robin, respectively. However, this time, they no longer have to wear ta costumes and riding the bat mobile. They will be reprising their roles by being the voices of their own characters in the upcoming movie, as reported by Press Democrat.
Aside from West and Ward, actress Julie Newmar will also be coming back as Catwoman, in voice also as well. They initially were part of the Batman television series back in the 1960s. Fifty years later and here they are, coming back to continue what they have started a long time ago. The series was on air for three years, form 1966-1968 on ABC where West ans Ward were protecting Gotham City from the evil, such as Catwoman. It was then adapted to a live action film, according to Comic Book.
New Batman animated feature lighter and more fun than the last
The trailer of the "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" animated movie also featured famous villains of the story like Joker, Riddler and Penguin. This is produced by Warner Bros. Hoe Entertainment and DC Entertainment, bound to be released on the big screens by October 11.
Based on the trailer, "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" is the opposite of the most recently presented animated feature, "Batman: The Killing Joke." The film was based on one what was told to be the darkest Batman story ever told, the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland back in 1988. In this upcoming animated series, it will be something lighter and more fun, compared to the last one.
