Pokemon GO Guide: How To Off The Permaban List And Get Your Account Back

Players have been so passionate about Pokemon GO, trying to do whatever it takes to catch lots of Pokemon. Unfortunately for some of them out there, it doesn't always end up in a happy ending. A good number of users have been banned from accessing the game's official servers following Niantic's decision to go after cheaters.

The studio's main target are Pokemon GO players who go against the Terms of Services, something that is agreed when signing up for the mobile game. More often than not, most people don't read such. Hence their accounts are banned, as they don't have any concrete knowledge about the "Do's and Don'ts."

Worry not, though -- there are several workarounds that can get your Pokemon GO account back. Try the steps below.

Note: It may or may not work, depending on the type of ban (semi or permanent) you got, so use at your own discretion.

Steps To Get Your Banned Pokemon GO Account Back

  1. Simply log out on your original account, but make a new one
  2. Log out the new account you created and then delete the entire Pokemon GO app
  3. Wait a few hours (probably around 2 to 3 hours), and reinstall the game directly from the App Store

If somehow, in one way or another, the steps above for getting your Pokemon GO account back won't work, there is another method to try.

  1. Just follow the aforementioned instructions, except the deletion and installation of Pokemon GO app
  2. Create a new account
  3. Find a Pokemon and try to catch it
  4. Try to log into your old account and wait for 3 hours or so
  5. Play the game

The Pokemon GO Unbanner Software: QuickSpin

Surprisingly, there is a software that Pokemon GO players can use to get their banned accounts back. It is a called QuickSpin. It basically asks players to answer a couple of questions as well as the location they want to be once the ban is gone. As of this writing, it remains to be a Window-based hack. So for those who are using a Mac OS X, they just need to use a virtual machine. It can be downloaded here.

If you think your Pokemon GO account received a permaban, then most likely, the above steps might not work accordingly. Nevertheless, there is a way to get things done -- that is by writing an appeal to Niantic. Of course, it doesn't always guarantee the return of your account, but it's worth a try.
