It holds true that Rockstar has yet to officially reveal a release date for GTA 6. However, if there's one thing fans are quite sure of, it's very likely to arrive along with the next-generation consoles Xbox Two and PlayStation 5. With that, then there's no doubt that the title will sport a VR feature.
According to Neurogadget, the feasible release window of GTA 6 could either be in 2018 or 2020. Either way, it is safe to say that the game will be launched along with the Xbox Two and PlayStation 5. The aforesaid next-gen consoles will reportedly be unleashed within those timelines.
If such speculation is true, then there's every possibility that GTA 6 will arrive with VR compatibility. It should be noted that Rockstar has since been rumored to consider such an option for the next installment. And besides, fans have been clamoring for it since time immemorial.
GTA 6 is said to come with much better graphics and other in-game aspects, making the overall gameplay experience interesting. But still, with the momentum of GTA 5, there's every reason why the studio is not rushing into developing another title for the franchise.
Nevertheless, with the heavy specs GTA 6 will require, it's no wonder that only top consoles will be able to run it. So for fans using PlayStation 3 and/or Xbox 360, it's better not to expect the game to arrive in the said platforms. After all, a good number of developers have stopped creating games for these consoles.
In related news, actor Ryan Gosling is believed to be voicing one of the lead characters of GTA 6. He'll be accompanied with his real-life significant other Eva Mendes, who'll be the voice of a female protagonist. If the latter indeed happens, then it'll be the first in the history of the entire franchise.
What do you think about these GTA 6 possibilities? Do you think Rockstar will really equip the game with VR capability? What other sorts of features do you want to see in the title? Let us know in the comment section below!
