'Naruto Shippuden' Updates: Series To End At Episode 500? Storyline Suggests End Is Coming

There have been reports that "Naruto Shipudden" anime series might be coming to its end already, given the course of the storyline. Although there is still a possibility for them to keep the series running longer, the fans of the anime series believe they are already starting to wrap things up.

"Naruto Shippuden" Coming To An End?

Considering the pace of the storyline especially with regards to the battle against Kaguya, it is very likely that the anime series "Naruto Shippuden" is nearing its end. Based on the storyline of its manga series, the progression of its anime has been very consistent. Even though the production can still extend the length of the series by providing flashbacks, the look of the end is still near.

If Studio Pierrot decides to provide flashbacks and filler episodes for the series to keep it longer, "Naruto Shippuden" looks to be reaching the final course of the story very soon as reported by Starz.

Low Production Cost For Anime Series

The fans of both the manga and anime series are concerned on how the studio will present the finale. The end of the story is very well known to the fans of the manga series, and they are worried that the studio may cut cost on its production and not be able to implement the scenario as intended. They felt the same way during the episode of Obito's fatal moment, allegedly showing poor animation.

Obito's Tragic Death

It can be recalled during the finale of episode 472 of "Naruto Shippuden" that Kaguya was frustrated seeing Obito perform a technique that was identical to hers. In result, she launched a bone spear towards Obito then his body slowly deteriorated until he turned into ashes, as reported by Christian Times.

Some fans believe that the writers can find a way to bring back Obito's life although if they follow the manga and its turn of events, Obito remains into ashes. The fate of the other warriors are now much anticipated by the fans of the anime series.
