“The Originals” on its fourth installment is believed to reveal Klaus and Marcel’s burying of the hatchet permanently. With the upcoming season’s airing early next year, the supernatural television show cannot escape spoilers just like any other hit series.
To recall, iTech Post mentioned in a previous post that “The Originals” season 4 will highlight a time jump of five years that will possibly feature Davina’s return and Hayley’s search for a spell to crack down the Mikaelsons’ curse.
The new season is rumored to have Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) held responsible for keeping Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) alive. While this speculation seems unclear, executive producer Julie Plec explained the status of their complicated relationship in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“The indignity of Klaus Mikaelson’s situation the last five years [is being] held captive by his surrogate son and forced to be an advisor to a king that he does not recognize,” EP Julie Plec says. “Also, [he knows] Marcel is actually singularly responsible for the fact he’s alive because so many people have come to town in the last five years desperate to see him reduced to ash.”
Meanwhile, Klaus could be in a terrible trouble. In the previous season, he was put in a pain-induced coma when Marcel buried Papa Tunde's blade on Klaus' chest. It is vague how he will ever awaken from the spell and if someone from his brood will be able to help him.
Other spoilers for “The Originals” Season 4 as discussed by Inquisitr include the transition of Hope from being a baby to a 7-year-old girl when the show returns to The CW network. Also, Christina Moses from Containment is likely to appear as the last surviving member of her werewolf family.
