Pokemon Go has been reported to have its user pool drop by at least 10 million unique subscribers. Though personally, I think that it is mostly because of the ban hammer Niantic dropped to cheaters. The remainder would still be a significant number.
To keep up the hype, Niantic Labs will, naturally, introduce updates to the game to keep Pokemon trainers playing in Pokemon Go.
Who are these team leaders?
Eurogamer.net elaborates:
Team Instinct - led by Spark with saying, "Pokémon are creatures with excellent intuition. I bet the secret to their intuition is related to how they're hatched. Come and join my team. You never lose when you trust your instinct!"
Team Mystic - led by Blanche, who says, "The wisdom of Pokémon is immeasurably deep. I'm researching why it is that they evolve. My team? With our calm analysis of every situation, we can't lose!"
Team Valor - led by Candela stating, "Pokémon are stronger than humans, and they're warmhearted, too! I'm researching ways to enhance Pokémon's natural power in the pursuit of true strength. There's no doubt that the Pokémon our team have trained are the strongest in battle!"
With different attributes, you will get to re-evaluate when this rolls out and decide which team you really are meant to join by having the option to transfer teams. It is not confirmed how many times you can transfer but at least one will be possible, that's one logical thing Niantic needs to do during the update.
But what do they really do in Pokemon Go?
You already have optimized your Pokemon via the CP calculator, IV calculator, and Damage calculator and this 'appraisal' enhancement has just got things a step further.
Aside from doing good poses, they are reportedly going to do 'something' to help you. Introducing: 'Implemented Pokemon Appraisal', what this actually do is that everytime you engage in gym battles in Pokemon Go, your respective team leader pops up before you fight and tell you stats about your opponent and will recommend which of your Pokemon is best to fight the current gym defender(s). Think of them as your Geiger Counter in Dragonball.
When is this out?
