The multiple Grammy- award winner made an announcement via her Twitter account a couple of days ago about her upcoming single that will be launched in September. Her exciting post said, "LADY GAGA / NEW SINGLE / PERFECT ILLUSION / SEPTEMBER."
Billboard reported that Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” is so appealing that it scores a No. 1 debut on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart, weeks before the song is due. She leads a debut-filled top three, as Metallica’s “Hardwired” and Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” enter at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. In addition, the broadcast of her new single was so thrilling to her long time supporters that the track quickly reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.
Indeed, the famous singer deserves to be listed as one of the best-selling musicians of all time with such overwhelming support from her fans
In an interview with iHeartRadio in New York City, Gaga mentioned that "Perfect Illusion” is a collaboration with super-producer Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. She described the song to be touching the ups and downs of a failed relationship.
"The song is about modern ecstasy . . . .We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it."
