Microsoft's Hotmail is about to get a metro-style makeover. Some leaked screenshot posted by LiveSide confirmed this new interface.
The screenshots feature a new Hotmail interface that is branded as "Newmail." But there is nothing to worry about as Microsoft is not exactly planning to rename its Hotmail service. It's just used as a placeholder featuring the new brightly colored interface. Users can now easily switch between SkyDrive, Calendar, Contacts and Mail using the title-style icons. Windows Phone operating system, Microsoft Xbox 360 feature a similar interface and it looks like Hotmail is all set to join them.
The leaked screenshots shows a modern and fast interface compared to the old one. Users are going to love the interface and it won't take too long to make adjustments. After looking at the screenshots, it can be expected that the webmail users can expect for an intuitive and fluid experience. Both touchscreen and mouse users are going to enjoy this interface.
