Given that it is an animated series, it is likely for people to assume that "Rick and Morty" is for children; however, one should have second thoughts about that. With the intense graphics and storylines that are a little out of the world, the animated series is nowhere near suitable for kids.
"Rick And Morty" Unsuitable For Children
"Rick and Morty" is a story between the dysfunctional relationship between Rick and his grandson, Morty. Rick is a scientist who is a raging alcoholic while Morty is his socially awkward teenage son and his sidekick to his odd experiments.
The animated series tackles some of the outrageous issues that are suitable for only those sixteen and above. According to Movie Pilot, the series is one of the smartest animations that have been created up to date. Although it is not likely suitable for children, it deals with the realistic issues such as violence, sex and more. The episodes may be disturbing and odd, it is recommended for the adults out there.
New Characters Will Be Introduced In Season 3
Creators of "Rick and Morty," Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, have teased new characters that will be introduced in the upcoming season. Mobile and Apps reported that a new character will be introduced, known as Gromflamite Prison General. With Rick currently in prison after the second season finale, he may be one of the prison generals where Rick is currently jailed in.
Rick's Ex-Wife Allegedly Returns On The Animated Series
There have also been reports that Rick's ex-wife will be returning to the show, who was left behind by Rick due to the importance of his experiments. There hasn't been any confirmation yet as to the storyline of Season 3 of "Rick and Morty," but reports said that during the start of the third season, Rick will find a way to break out of prison and his grandchildren, Morty and Summer will help him in his plan.
