Sony has announced an upcoming official DLC to the game Dark Souls III. It was confirmed after PlayStation accidentally tweeted a link that redirects to a private video, which was expected to be the DLCs official trailer. The tweet was then deleted assuming that it was pre-maturely released. The upcoming 'Dark Souls 3' DLC is the first of two expansions of the game. The downloadable content was entitled 'Ashes of Ariandel.'
According to Gamespot, even though the tweet was deleted, it somehow confirms a trailer which will be posted as soon as it will be released officially. The upcoming 'Dark Souls 3' DLC will be coming in February of next year since the Season pass schedules appeared on digital storefronts. It was confirmed that Sony will be planning on making two expansion packs for the 'Dark Souls 3' game. Based on the reports, the two DLCs will come through a $25 Season Pass bundle. However, it is highly expected to also come individually for a much lower price.
According to PC Invasion, more details appeared on the Japanese Blog regarding the 'Ashes of Ariandel' DLC. Based on the reports, the expansion pack highlights new weapons and armors, alluding to a snow-based location which was expected to be an ashen area and suggesting that the upcoming 'Dark Souls 3' DLC will be featuring more PVP arena.
