Currently, Upcoming Action RPG 'The Surge' has announced that the game will be running on higher resolution.
Deck13, who was best known for their work on Lords of the Fallen, will be applying similar formula for their upcoming game 'The Surge.' Reports say that the upcoming 'The Surge' game is expected to have a dystopian science fiction setting. According to Gaming Bolt, Torsten Fock-Herde, Deck13 Game Programmer, confirms that both PS4 and Xbox one versions will be running on high resolution. It was said that PlayStation 4 version will be running 900p and Xbox One will be at 1080p.
The gaming company also confirmed that the upcoming 'The Surge' game will be sticking to the latter DirectX 11 than the latest DirectX12. Even though they had evaluated the possibility and Microsoft's new low-level API, they have decided not to apply it into the game. According to WCCFTECH, the previous 'Lords of the Fallen' game depends deeply on NVIDIA GameWorks. However, according to the report, PhysX was just the one being used on the while dropping APEX. That means, Xbox One will be rendering a 900p resolution while PS4's target resolution is the native 1080p.
Deck13 also added details on the duration of the game. According to the company, 'The Surge' playtime will also be similar to 'Lords of the Fallen' that ranges between 15 and 25 hours depending on the player's style of play. In addition, 'The Surge' is expected to be out in 2017 and will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
