Zeno Clash II: E3 2012 Gameplay Footage Revealed

Altus and developer Ace Team’s upcoming first-person combat title “Zeno Clash II” has now received a new gameplay footage for E3 2012. The game is a sequel to the studio’s first FPS combat released in 2009 for PC and 2010 for XBLA.

You will find out, from the video below, that “Zeno Clash II” looks better and more detailed and more beautiful than its predecessor. Although the sequel will be similar to the first game, it will feature a larger, more open game world, drop-in, drop-out cooperative play, and a more developed battle system.

In “Zeno Clash II,” you will play as Ghat, who can be joined by Rimat for co-operative sessions. And, although no real story elements were on display at E3 2012, there was a brief battle sequence. The character design is just as weird as it was in the first game and will feature enemies with unreasonably tiny heads, garbage can lids drooping above their foreheads, skinny limbs and giant beards.

Enemies, now, according to a IGN report, will move around with a peculiar flexibility. And you can defend yourself by blocking or quickly dodging to the side, and later return straight jabs or dominant hooks. You’ll need to pay attention to the kind of punch you throw, because enemies block attacks from specific directions.

Zeno Clash II is currently scheduled to launch in 2013 for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC.
