'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Set For 2017 Release; New Character To Be Added After Ken's Death

Even though there hasn't been any official announcement made yet with regards to Season 3 of "Tokyo Ghoul," fans are still very hopeful of it happening. The creators of the series remain quiet about it but many theories about the season three storyline have been circulating around the web.

Rumors Say That Ken Will Be Defeated And Die In The Hands Of His Enemy, Arim

One of the theories that the fans have come up with as to what the storyline will be for "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is the end of the battle between Ken and Arim. Many have speculated that Ken will be the one to die in battle. After facing many enemies, Arim is the hardest one for Ken to beat. According to Ecumenical News, the battle between them will result to Ken's death.

If it happens that Ken will lose the deathly battle, the series creator will have to come up of a new protagonist for the series on its third season. However, speculations do not end there at all.

Others Say Ken Will Win And Take In A New Persona: An Investigator

There have also been theories that Ken will, in fact, win the battle and will be taking in a new identity as "Tokyo Ghoul" returns for Season 3. According to Vine Report, Ken Kaneki will be in a form of an investigator named Haise Sasaki. This is allegedly a result of the allegations that Ken is being held captive in the arms of other ghouls which has led to his doubts on his people.

There are also reports that the network will follow the events of the manga series, indicating that a professor of Ken will be joining him in his fight against the villains, named Professor Kanou. He will be helping the show's protagonists in the battles that he is yet to face.

Despite the creators being silent about the rumors on the forthcoming season, fans are happy enough to the news that the anime series is being adapted into a live-action film, which will most likely follow the storyline of the manga series.
