WWDC 2012: New MacBook Pro Photos Leaked, Nvidia GeForce GT 650M Graphics Chip Spotted

Some leaked photos posted in a Chinese forum WeiPhone showed of the logic board placed in the new MacBook Pro that is expected to be announced at Monday's WWDC's keynote opening.

If the leaked photos are true, the latest addition to the MacBook Pro series is packed with an Nvidia GT 650M graphics chip with a dedicated 1GB GDDR5 graphics memory. The photos also reveal that the latest model might feature the same design of the old models. Chinese forum WeiPhone is famous for their solid information and the leaked photos look authentic.

Another member of the Chinese forum presented a side-by-side comparison of the new logic board with the logic board used on the current 15-inch MacBook Pro. Both logic boards feature a similar layout and are identical including the screw holes on the board. Another report claims that the latest MacBook Pro will be loaded with 2.3 GHz and 2.5 GHz chip. Users interested for a high-end custom configuration can also go for 2.7GHz. At the top, Apple is offering the Core i7-3820QM that people saw in benchmarks that appeared last month.

There was another rumor about Apple introducing a newly designed MacBook Pro with Retina display. But the leaked photos reveal no redesign of the body. But there is a chance that these photos are only showing off the updated version of the present MacBook Pro while the new one still remains hidden. People annoyed with these rumors can cheer up as all these rumors are coming to an end on Monday at Apple's WWDC.
