Capcom has recently released a 3-minute trailer of the upcoming Resident Evil 7. The new trailer highlights new additional details to the game's synopsis. The trailer showcases a brand new horror feel for the game. However, Capcom announced that the graphical efforts that have been seen on the latest trailer does not depict the actual game. The footage highlights a young girl named Mia, who is trying to escape from the previously introduced character, Marguerite Baker.

According to Gamespot, the game's Beginning Hour demo highlights its focus on an unpleasant atmosphere. Meanwhile, this latest trailer entitled Lantern reveals another detail to the plot. Game producer Masachika Kawata explains on what to expect with the upcoming Resident Evil 7 and how it works during the game's E3 presentation. According to Kawata, the game will feature combat, gunplay and more focus on survival which the game lacks since it shifted to a first person game.

However, Kawata was unable to expound the horror game's all-embracing structure. By that, the new trailer depicts the mysterious structure of the game. Based on the reports, the upcoming Resident Evil game will mark the new direction of the franchise. Kawata added that the trailer is actually included on the game. According to IGN, the game's purpose will be more mysterious as possible to maintain its impressive horror feel. With the reported new direction of the franchise, Kawata admitted that perhaps they would not be able to please every fans they had but they are doing all the efforts to make everyone experience a whole new horror game environment.
