'Titanfall 2' Release Update: Gets Improved Pilot Mobility, Map Design, Titan Meter; Coming On October 28 For Xbox One, PS4, PC

"Titanfall 2" is expected to receive an update based on the feedbacks of the fans according to Respawn Entertainment. The update will include huge improvements in the game's pilot mobility, Titan meter, Titan mobility, map design and HUD. The improvements are meant to address the issues encountered by players who participated in the game's test run.

The makers of "Titanfall 2" is expected to tune air speed and wall-running speed to make pilot mobility faster. Additionally, players could once again accumulate and retain more speed as they chain wall runs.

The game's Titan meter is also suggested to get an improvement as pilots will once again have the ability to acquire a small passive amount of Titan meter every few seconds. Titan's mobility, on the other hand, is said to be recharged faster in the "Titanfall 2" update.

More maps will also be added over the next couple of weeks on the game's website which include the traditional "Titanfall" maps. It has been noted that some game testers pointed out whether "Titanfall 2" will keep the relatively flat and open design of Homestead. Respawn Entertainment addressed this concern and said that it will not be the case.

With regard to "Titanfall 2's" HUD, Respawn Entertainment will be bringing in the fade distance for enemy outlines. With this improvement, pilots will not be revealed at extreme distances.

On top of those, the company also mentioned that Titans will now have a battery system instead of the current energy shields. This changes things up in terms of the survivability of Titans.

"Titanfall 2" is set to be launched officially on Oct. 28 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Respawn Entertainment is reportedly more than determined to polish everything before the game finally rolls out. Needless to say, the past multiplayer tech tests seemed to be beneficial not just for the developers but ultimately for the players.
