Lenovo has introduced a new Mobile Access service that offers no-contract, high-speed mobile broadband service. People in the U.S. and in Europe (including the UK) can now enjoy on-the-go-broadband without any hotspots, MiFi devices and phone tethers.
Lenovo ThinkPad users can now access to Lenovo Mobile Access for high-speed, mobile broadband service. People away from their home, Wi-Fi hotspots and office internet connection can quickly access to their required online content using the company's pre-connected, always-on internet connection. The service is now available for US users and in nine European countries. But currently the service is embedded for a few models of the ThinkPad product.
If a Lenovo ThinkPad user wants to check his email, there is a $1.95 package with 30MB data and 30 minutes validity to do that. Other plan includes a full day usage package for 8.95$ with a 200MB limit cap. The company is also planning to release some monthly plans of 2GB and 6GB data plans. But the prices may be different in different locations. Both individual and business users are going to find these plans fit for their need.
"We live in world where it's not only undesirable to be without online access, it's often disruptive to businesses. For that reason we wanted to create a flexible mobile broadband solution that would be unparalleled in its ability to help business users stay connected and working," said Dilip Bhatia, vice president and general manager of ThinkPad Business Unit, Lenovo. He believes the plans are perfect for both individual and corporate customer as it perfectly fits their budget.
