Final Fantasy 15 News: Not All DLC Will Be Included In Game's Season Pass

Final Fantasy 15's game director, Hajime Tabata, discusses his plans for the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 set of DLC to add up with the previously announced six expansion packs of the game that will be released after the title's official launching. This will perhaps be a good news to the fans of the franchise who love to see the game expands as it moves forward. However, Tabata announces that these upcoming set of DLC will not be covered by the game's Season Pass.

According to Silicon Era, Tabata, on the other hand, did not specify of what will be the nature of these additional content for Final Fantasy 15 that SquareEnix has planned. Apparently, reports said that the DLC for the Season Pass has already been set. This means that these new set of in-game expansion packs will unlikely be included in the bundle. Moreover, Tabata hints that the game expansion packs may include cooking recipe, costumes or even perhaps the content for the game's virtual reality experience.

With the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 Season Pass has already been set, Tabata expounded that some of the parts these additional DLC are still uncertain. However, fans will likely expect great on these upcoming expansion packs. As of now, no further statement regarding on the pricing of these DLC and when fans could actually expect a possible release past the primary six packages included on the Season Pass. In addition, no further decision has been made regarding on making more expansion packs to cover up the recent delayed release.

This report perhaps gave either a positive or negative situation for the fans. While, it is a bit frustrating for them to know that they are unable to access the post-game materials even with the game's Season Pass. However, this situation might grant someone an opportunity to upgrade even further down the line. Based on the reports from Game Rant, Square Enix has revealed last week a $270 Ultimate Collector's Edition of the game without the Season Pass.

It has been suggested that fans might want to settle with the Final Fantasy 15 base game without engaging to the game's confusing expansion offers yet until the situation will be much clearer for them as to what will be offered.

Final Fantasy 15 will be slated for release on November 29, 2016 for both PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
