Showrunner Marc Guggenheim makes sure Oliver Queen is in the capable hands of his sister, Thea Queen. Thea’s appointment as Oliver’s chief of staff couldn’t be more interesting and relieving as “Arrow” sets its fifth installment.
As the mayor of Star City, Oliver’s tasks are grueling and he needs reliable hands in the persona of his beloved sibling, Thea.
According to Entertainment, series producer Guggenheim gives Thea an opportunity to ascertain herself independent of Malcolm.
“Perhaps, to her own surprise, she’s actually really, really good at it. All the skills that she learned by watching her mother for all those years, as well as running Verdant, she’s found very transferrable to City Hall, and in many ways, she’s a much better chief of staff than Oliver is a mayor.”
Having had teased Thea as really good on her craft, we can expect the fifth season of the show to highlight more of Willa Holland’s role (Thea Queen). As Oliver faces new battles we can keep calm and stay positive that Willa will strengthen and support his brother unconditionally.
International Business Times reported that the latest season takes “Legacy’ as episode 1’s title which will show Oliver’s new recruits of vigilantes joining his team. Also, his flashbacks feature his memories of Bratva, codename of the Russian mafia.
Dolph Lundgren’s casting on the show surfaces as one of the new villains. In a previous article of iTech Post, Lundgren was mentioned as an influential character, one of Bratva’s bad guys who gave Oliver difficult times.
Barely two months and we can feel the thrills of the upcoming season. Bet “Arrow” fans are giddy and could only extend their utmost patience on the show.
Gear up for a powerful action when "Arrow" season 5 marks its debut on The CW on October 5.
