Funny Mockumentary Reveals Why Thor Wasn’t In ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Finally, the people will know why Thor was absent in Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’ through a mockumentary released by Marvel Studios and Disney at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

So what was the God of Thunder up to? Well according to the video uploaded at Marvel's Official Facebook Page, Thor “just needed some me time” and moved to Australia to share an apartment with an average everyday guy named Darryl. He is also seen trying to get closer to the local community by visiting a school and trying to write an email to Captain America through a very reluctant looking Darryl.

There is also a cameo by Mark Ruffalo where Thor and Bruce Banner, who was not in ‘Captain America Civil War’ as well, are in a cafe for a little get together. Bruce who is the other half of the Hulk will be appearing in ’Ragnarok’ which is Thor’s third installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here is a rundown of Thor’s mockumentary
• Thor telling the camera “he needed some me time” from the events of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ so he moved in with Darryl
• Thor asking the kids in a local school to name this “purple weirdo” by pointing to a crude drawing of Vision
• Thor crashing Darryl’s workplace and asking for help writing an electronic letter to Captain America and Tony Stark
• Thor showing his college dorm like a room with a “keep out Darryl” sign on the door written in Asgardian.
• Inside his room is his costumes, Mjolnir tucked in a drawer, and a huge piece of meat that Thor has been roasting in the sun for a couple of weeks now.
• Thor and Bruce Banner in a café who is asking Thor why he keeps waking up in cut-offs.
• Bruce getting a call from Tony Stark with Thor trying to grab the phone from him. Thor then asking Bruce to tell Tony he doesn’t have a phone and to just send a raven instead.

The funny mockumentary will be a special bonus on the upcoming Blu-ray release of ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
