Motorola Moto M Spotted At TENAA, Phone To Come With 3 GB RAM, 16 MP Camera And 3000 mAh Battery

Lenovo's Motorola smartphone line has already revealed multiple handsets this year - the Moto Z, the Moto G4, and the Moto E3. However, recent reports suggest that the company isn't done with 2016 just yet.

A new phone dubbed as the Motorola Moto M has recently been spotted online. The phone's TENAA certification has recently surfaced, thus supporting previous rumors that Motorola has a new phone coming up. Earlier this year, this smartphone was seen at GFXBench where its specs were initially leaked.

Motorola Moto M Specs

This new phone for the Motorola 2016 lineup is expected to sport a 4.6-inch screen with a 1080p display. Its cameras will be a 16 MP rear cam and an 8 MP front shooter. Take note that these details came from the phone's GFXBench listing. The TENAA listing, on the other hand, says that the device would have a 5.5-inch screen.

Additional TENAA details about Motorola Moto M includes a 3000 mAh battery, a metal unibody and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

GSMarena reveals more details about the upcoming phone. It might as well be a combination of everything that the GFXBench and TENAA certification has leaked, but it looks more detailed.

According to the website, the phone will have the usual LTE network connectivity but its sim type and capacity weren't specified. It's still unsure whether there will be a dual sim capability or not. The display is expected to be IPS LCD and its PPI density is expected to be 479 pixels per inch.

For the device's system, the new phone will run the latest Android version that is the Android 7.0 Nougat. Motorola Moto M is also expected to use Mediatek MT6750 chipset and a Mali T860MP2 GPU.

Alongside the 3 GB RAM, Motorola Moto M will have 32 GB storage. For the color variants, source says that the new Moto phone will come in both black and white colors.

Motorola Moto M Release Date

This new Motorola device is expected to be launched later in 2016. However, the company itself has not yet given an official statement about this matter. Android fans just need to rely on leaks and rumors to come up with the specifics. But with leakages like the GFXBench and TENAA listings, it is possible that a new Motorola phone is indeed coming soon.
