Potterheads rejoice! Warner Bros. is bringing back the boy who lived with "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" movie adaption. However is Daniel Radcliffe ready to pick up his wand and wear his round glasses again?
Let's all wish that a little more push from Warner Bros., also the studio behind the successful "Hobbit" trilogy, and some sincere plea from fans will make Radcliffe change his mind even though he previously said he's done with the role. There is no other perfect Harry Potter is there?
Still in its early planning stages, Warner Bros. is eager to make a trilogy of the "Harry Potter and The Cursed Child," written by Jack Thorn based on a story by J.K. Rowling, which was first released as a stage play in UK. On July 31, the two part play's script was also released in paperback.
However, Daniel Radcliffe has been successful in distancing himself from Harry Potter with roles as farting corpse in "Swiss Army Man" and modern day magician in "Now You See Me 2."
Plot
Set 19 years after the "Harry Potter And Deathly Hollows," "Harry Potter And the Cursed Child" centers about Harry as an overworked minister of magic and his second son, Albus Severus Potter, who is not only a Slytherin but also friends with Scorpius Malfroy (Yup, he's Draco Malfroy's son).
Albus looks very much like his father but didn't inherit his natural talent in magic, that is the reason why he is getting alienated at school. On the other hand Harry's scar started hurting again, and Albus decided to bring Cedric Diggory back by stealing a time turner. New adventure awaits for Harry--and what role will Albus play in this story?
We will surely see Harry Potter in the in the big screen again. But it looks like we will have a long time to wait.
