Samsung has just released the new Galaxy Note 7, complete with another S-Pen to go with the new phablet. However, with the coming of a new Note is also the coming of yet another S-Pen issue.
Despite the efforts of Samsung to ensure that the Galaxy Note 7 users will be unable to accidentally insert the S-Pen backwards, another design flaw appears to lurk in the corner, putting the S-Pen's reputation at risk once more. The new problem is all about the mechanical button that is on the S-Pen, which may allegedly stop functioning properly. With this faulty mechanism, the Note 7's S-Pen become unable to click. The flaw also makes the stylus ejects itself from its silo.
Galaxy Note 7 S-Pen Ejection Problem
This means that S-Pen ejection from the Galaxy Note 7 is a big problem, as there are instances where it won't eject. Fortunately, users have found a way to solve this problem, by getting the stylus out with a pin and hitting the S-Pen's hole.
What has particularly irked users, however, is that this problem persists time and again. The clicking mechanism is indeed the main problem of the new S-Pen on the new Galaxy Note 7.
Galaxy Note 7 Waterproofing Glitch
There were some that suspects that the problem is due to a failure of the waterproof feature that the Galaxy Note 7 has. However, there were also some who suggest that problems still persist even though it hasn't been submerged in water.
What is Samsung Doing to the Galaxy Note 7 S-Pen?
Samsung seems to be very troubled with it, as the S-Pen's design flaw might translate into a downward trend for the Galaxy Note 7, which would also mean more sales for the device's main rivals like the upcoming iPhone 7 Plus. With this, Samsung has stated that it will do everything it can in case a customer goes to its own shops complaining about the S-Pen issue.
When the S-Pen is removed by official Samsung employees, the complainant will be given a new redesigned S-Pen. If quick removal fails, the phone will be sent for service replacement, and will also have the S-Pen replaced with a new redesigned one.
Surely, Samsung has its own flaws in the design of the S-Pen as it always had ever since its incorporation into the Note line. The good thing, at least, is that Samsung does something to solve the problem.
