'Scream Queens' Sneak Peek Revealed; Teases "Funnier" And "Scarier" Season 2

A funnier and scarier "Scream Queens" Season 2 will be coming back to our TV screens this month. Fox revealed in a teaser complete with interview videos of casts.

Included in the video are former sorority sisters Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich) and Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams), their university dean, Jamie Lee Curtis (Cathy Munsch), together with two new casts John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, who play as doctors working at the hospital in the second season.

"Scream Queens" Season 2 will be set on a hospital wing, as Dean Munsch recruits the girls at the University hospital's medical school. It is inspired by classic horror "Halloween," which also starred Curtis.

"There is a show on TV that is wacky, bitingly funny and smart... and it's our show," said Curtis, who also said her character will run the hospital "the way she sees fit"

The second season was filmed in Los Angeles instead of New Orleans in Season 1, as the show previously had tax disputes in California.

In Season 1, the plot revolved around Wallace University's Kappa Kappa Tau sorority headed by Chanel. The series of events reignited an on old mystery on school murder and a serial killer begins targeting the members of the sorority. An additional headache to the girls is Dean Cathy Munsch who initially doesn't like their group.

The first season received divided reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gave the series a 6.3/10 average rating gathered from 69 reviews. Critics' consensus says its "too tasteless" and didn't satisfy "mainstream viewers," while Terry Schwartz from IGN gave it a very positive review with a score of 9.7/10. "From the acting to the costuming to the writing, everything about this concept and execution works." Schwartz described.

"Scream Queens" Season 2 will premeire in September 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
