Taylor Schilling (Piper), in an interview with Pop Sugar, drops hints that her character might follow the tragic passing of Poussey.
When asked about Piper’s hair transformation, Schilling thinks the gradual changes do not pose any relevant meaning.
“Piper's outsides are becoming less and less important. She's kind of moving further and further away from the idea of what she thought she was. She's becoming more practical. She's becoming a creature of the prison, and there's no space for excess. Her only need is for survival, and brushing her hair doesn't really factor into the equation.”
The actress also confirmed that this year will be a difficult one for Piper but she related her uncertainty if her role would be able to surpass the adversities in Litchfield Penitentiary.
“I don't know . . . I don't know,” said Tyler.
Laverne Cox Reprises Role
Emmy nominee Laverne Cox is recasted in season 5 of “Orange is the new Black.”
According to E! News, the reality star is grateful for her return in the comedy drama series despite her busy schedule.
"Oh god, that has been very tricky. We're trying to figure out when I get back to New York to shoot some more Orange. That's still a work in progress, but I'm so blessed that they really wanted to keep writing for Sophia over at Orange.”
Sophia’s comeback equates notoriety. Whew, more clashes make more adventures in the show.
