‘Mythbusters’ Crew Is Making A New Show At Netflix

Science fans rejoice! The popular "Mythbusters" trio of Tory Bellici, Kari Byron, and Grant Imahara is heading to Netflix to form a new show set to release on December 9. And it looks like they brought all their gizmos and explosives with them.

According to Nerdist, The announcement came via a tweet from DragonCon. The trio's latest reunion in TV land will be called the "White Rabbit Project". The concept of the show would be pretty much like "Mythbusters" except this time, the team would be searching every nook and cranny of the Internet to test various theories and ideas. According to Deadline, the show's topics would range from" jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war 2 weapons".

There were plenty of leaks and indications about this show before it was officially announced. The Gazette Review already published a piece that suggests of a new show about "gadgets, science, and destructions galore" in the works. Robotics buff Grant Imahara has also made multiple allusions to the new show via his twitter feed. And with pictures like this, things are looking like they are about to get quite "horrible".

The final season of "Mythbusters" was notable for the absence of the trio which was a sad day for Science and Explosion nuts everywhere. The brainy threesome however quickly landed on their feet with Imahara becoming a spokesperson for McDonalds, apparently trying to tell the world about the story of how McNuggets are made. Meanwhile Byron and Belluci will take on a hosting gig on a show called "Thrill Factor" which according to Travel channel, is a show about the "exciting world of thrill rides, waterslides and other heart-pumping experiences," or as I like to call it, TV running out of ideas.

And we can all thank Netflix for bringing this trio back!
