Pokemon Go Nests have migrated recently. Pokemon Go Spawn Points have also changed.
Pokemon Go Nests Migration, Changing Pokemon Go Spawn Points
A number of Pokemon Go players have recently reported that their usual Pokemon Go Spawn Points are now releasing different Pokemon. Even the Pokemon Go Nests have also disappeared from the usual location and transferred to new ones.
A number of Reddit users including BiggaThanLife posted his recent experience. It seems his home's Spawning Point of Pidgey and Ratata has now changed to Nidorinos and Dratinis as well as Ghastlys. This recent upgrade of Pokemon spawns has been good news to him and other Pokemon Go trainers.
Pokemon Go Data Mining on Nests, Spawn Points
Data miners are still looking for the code change that Niantic has implemented for this latest development, according to Pokemon Go Hub. But it seems the Pokemon Go Nests migration and Pokemon Spawn Points change has been implemented worldwide. Pokemon Go players from the United States to Australia have been reporting the same phenomenon.
Fortunately, most of the Pokemon Go players said that the spawn point changes and Nest migrations seem to benefit them. It is unclear however, if the change is a permanent or a temporary thing. Pokemon Go app developer Niantic has yet to issue an official announcement about this.
PokeExplore Update:
Meanwhile, PokeExplore has just started its first day of campaign to petition Niantic to set up more Pokestops particularly, in rural areas. As of press time, PokeExplore was able to issue almost 600 Twitter posts by more than a hundred volunteers. Most of the tweets came from the United States and from Android devices. The tweets were also able to collect more than 100,000 Impressions. PokeExplore organizers hope to convince more Pokemon Go volunteers to join the cause. So far, Niantic has yet to acknowledge the petition.
