"Narcos" showed us in season 2 the story of known criminal Pablo Escobar which was amazingly played by Wagner Moura. Now that the season is over, the next question is, will we ever see a "Narcos" season 3?
While a lot of fans are eager to see the third season, there are actually fans who does not mind having the acclaimed series end on its second. A fan was quoted writing, "If Narcos ended after the second season, I don't think I would lose any sleep over it. I really enjoyed the first two seasons of the series, but I don't know how interesting the series is without Pablo Escobar."
As of the moment, Netflix has not announced yet if there will be a third season. But do not lose hope yet. Entertainment Weekly managed to score an interview with the series' producer Eric Newman and he teased, "If somebody wants another season of the show, we would sit down and draw from the pretty massive amount of real estate and research that we've done and do something kind of cool."
According to Newman, the show was not titled "Pablo Escobar" or "Medellin" and was never intended to be solely about Escobar, it is really more about the cocaine.
If there will be a third season of "Narcos" we can most probably base it on what happened in the history books.
