Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is just months away from its official release. While the waiting game continues, new details about the game are enough to keep the hype rolling. For players who are so eager to acquire the titular Goku Black, they should be happy knowing that it's no longer a pre-order exclusive.
In the past, Bandai revealed that Goku Black was supposed to be a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 pre-order exclusive. Of course, while there are fans who're totally okay with it, there are those who aren't. The good thing, however, this is not the case now.
According to Saiyan Island, the said Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 character will no longer be exclusive to players who pre-order the game. This means that whether or not they opt to do such purchase, they'll eventually get the titular Goku version.
The decision to remove Goku Black from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 pre-order process rooted from the eager desires of the community. After Bandai listened to tons of complaints and/or suggestions, the studio finally decided to do so.
It should be noted, however, that the said Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 character will only be made available sometime after the game's release. Nevertheless, this should really come as a great news, especially for those who've longed to get hold of him.
Moreover, the developers behind Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also offered some interesting stuff to the community. In order to lighten things up after the frustration with the previous installment, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta will now be part of the upcoming title's in-disc roster.
In related news, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is said to not include the so-called Super Saiyan Rose. This means that Goku Black will only showcase its base version prowess, as reported by The Bitbag. It's completely justifiable though, as the character was just recently introduced. Nevertheless, its addition would still have been a huge boost for the title.
