Dragon Ball Super Episode 57 Recap: Team Goku vs. Team Zamasu
The episode kicks off with Zamasu teaming up with Black Goku. Goku is wondering whether the two are allies. Zamasu clarified that they are just "kindred souls".
On the other hand, Vegeta passed out with future Trunks beside him. With Vegeta unconscious, Goku has to fight them on his own.
Zamasu firmly believes that mortals should not exist. He wants to eliminate humans and other non-god beings, including Goku. With Zamasu and Black Goku eager to fight against Goku, it'll be a handicap match.
Fortunately, Trunks decided to step up and fight alongside Goku thus forming Team Goku and Team Zamasu. Trunks takes on Zamasu while Goku goes after Black Goku.
But Team Zamasu appears to be too powerful. It was an intense battle. The fight between Zamasu and Trunks revealed that the enemy is an immortal. Trunks learned that Zamasu has the ability to heal quickly when he stabbed him with his sword.
Black Goku was then able to hit Goku and Trunks with a powerful Kamehameha wave. The blast struck Goku and Trunks weakened on the ground. Luckily, Yabirobe came to rescue them and dragged their bodies to safety. Meanwhile, Mai and the resistance fighters take Vegeta away.
As they reach a safer place, Mai sends Future Trunks, Goku and Vegeta back to the past by using a Time Machine.
Episode 58 Spoilers: 'Zamasu and Black: Their Mystery Deepens'
With Goku defeated and has returned to the past, fans are wondering as to what will transpire in episode 58. There are numerous rumors that leaked online about the plot of the upcoming episode.
According to reports, a synopsis of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 58 leaked online. It revealed that Goku and his team successfully returned in the past. Beerus, Whis and Kaioshin appear as their injuries from the battle were being cured with Senzu.
Despite of their unfortunate loss, Goku still wants to return to the future and continue the fight against Zamasu and Black Goku.
There are also speculations that Beerus and Supreme Kai will eventually team-up to battle Zamasu and Black Goku. However, this information is yet to be confirmed.
Fans might also see Trunks fighting alongside Goku once again since Vegeta suffered a lot in the previous battle.
One thing is for sure on "Dragon Ball Super" episode 58, Zamasu and Black Goku still remains a mystery.
