‘Grimm’ Season 6: Series Cancelled; Show Will Move to Netflix?

When it was announced that NBC's Grimm season 6 was renewed for only 13 episodes, the fans were alarmed that it might mean the end for their beloved supernatural crime drama.

True enough, NBC later announced that the series will end with its sixth season.

Grimm was one of the top Friday night shows at NBC and has garnered 6.3 million viewers in its first season and peaked at 7 million viewers on its second season.

With the inevitable end of the season, the show's fans are desperate to stop it. Rumor has it that they are pleading for Netflix to pick up the show for its seventh season. While others wanted a spinoff series featuring the characters Monroe and Rosalee.

Most fans believe that the story of Monroe and Rosalee can be further explored along with their soon to be born Blutbad/Fuschbau child. NBC have yet to confirm regarding a possible spinoff.

As for the fans request for Netflix to pick up the TV show "Grimm," there is an actual online petition that you can support. The petition which was made a week ago currently has 3656 supporters and only needs 1,344 more.

The fans are quick to comment on the petition page about their desperation for Netflix to pick up the show and that the show is nowhere near done. One fan named Alma wrote, " enjoy watching Grimm. It's original and fresh, considering all the shows out there...one of the reasons I hold on to cable."

"Grimm" is a very good show but like all series, it could not last forever. Fans have no word from Netflix as of the moment and they can only hope for the best that their petition will convince them.

Meanwhile, fans will have to wait until they can watch the final season of "Grimm" on NBC by Jan 06, 2017.
