Dead Space 3: New Details Finally Unveiled

Electronic Art’s upcoming survival horror video game “Dead Space 3” which is a sequel to “Dead Space 2” has received some new details about the new game. However, sadly the details are far from meeting our expectations.

The new game, developed by Visceral Games, will be more action oriented and will feature a cover system and universal ammo. It is important to note here that the universal ammo feature was actually one of the biggest reasons for the destruction of the whole “Deus Ex: Invisible War” experience.

Moreover, “Dead Space 3” will not feature any Multiplayer mode, and that part will be replaced by the Co-op mode adding new cutscenes and interactions between Isaac and Carver. The developers have also confirmed that the game will have zero gravity space sections, dark corridors, and all the other stuff that we expect from the game as per the whole “Dead Space” series is concerned.

Lastly, the icy planet is known as Tau Volantis and the Fodders (game’s enemies) convert into two different necromorphs depending on how you kill them. Hopefully, ammo drops are also more plentiful this time around.

The majority of the game takes place on a frozen planet known as Tau Volantis. Having crash-landed on the planet, Isaac Clarke hopes that this hostile new environment contains the key to ending the Necromorph scourge. Isaac will return as the protagonist, along with Ellie Langford from “Dead Space 2,” who is separated from Isaac during the crash, and new character Sgt. John Carver.

According to the game’s official page, “Isaac Clarke returns, joined by merciless soldier John Carver, to chase a risky plan that promises to finally stop the Necromorphs. Together Clarke and Carver must explore the frozen planet of Tau Volantis and track down the secret they hope will end the Necromorph plague forever, all while overcoming avalanches, treacherous ice-climbs, and the violent wilderness. Facing deadlier evolved enemies and brutal elements, the unlikely pair must work together to save mankind from the impending apocalypse.”

“Dead Space 3” is set to arrive in February 2013.
