Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 PC – Details About Dedicated Servers, Steam Bonus And More

Some good news awaits the “Call of Duty” fans. As per Treyarch, “Black Ops 2” will support dedicated servers. As the company has not provided any more info on that, we don’t really have any idea if they will follow Infinity Ward’s and Sledgehammer’s example of stopping dedicated servers on ranked matches.

Cesar Stastny, Treyarch’s lead PC developer, has also revealed that there will be some Steam pre-order bonuses for Black Ops 2. Unluckily, Stastny did not reveal what these bonuses will actually be. Many believe that a DLC might be given for free for those who decide to pre-order it via Valve’s distribution service. More news on the Steam bonuses will follow.

Cesar has also promised that the in-game mouse sensitivity will not be as ‘slow’ as the previous “Call of Duty” title. Previously, a lot of PC gamers had issues with mouse acceleration and felt that the general sensitivity was ‘slower’.

Replying to a fan on a question about what had happened to the evolution line that made the mouse “slower,” Cesar said that this time around, mouse doesn’t feel “slower” in Black Ops 2.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is set to arrive on November 13.
