World of Tanks Blitz – Valkyria Chronicles Mobile Game: A Wargaming & Sega Collaboration

A World of Tanks Blitz and Valkyria Chronicles combination mobile game is coming soon. Game developers Wargaming and Sega have recently announced their collaboration on the mobile game app project.

Wargaming's First Joint Venture

This is Wargaming's first joint venture with another game developer, according to Gaming Trends. The tank mobile game developer and Sega are expected to announce further details in the upcoming Tokyo Gaming Event.

World of Tanks Blitz and Valkyria Chronicles

The two games are different but they have one thing in common though - tanks. This is probably why collaboration between the two gaming genres seemed a perfect match. Wargaming General Manager Ozan Kocoglu said that the Sega partnership is a big opportunity for their company and they expect to gain valuable knowledge from the joint project.

Kocoglu's counterpart in the Valkyria Chronicles, Takeshi Ozawa praised the popularity of World of Tanks games and they feel fortunate to develop a game combining the two franchise. He also hoped that more World of Tank gamers will get to know about the Valkyria series.

Kocoglu said that his company wants to provide quality content for Sega. He said that they are toying with a lot of ideas for the upcoming collaboration game. He also promised that they will make announcements from time to time to update their fans.

The Valkyria Chronicles was first release by Sega for the PS 3 eight years ago. Sega also released a Windows PC version in late 2014. A remastered edition has been released this year for the PlayStation 4. The game is a tactical RPG third person shooter and limited to single player mode only. Windows PC and PS 4 players also get the downloaded contents. At least two Valkyria Chronicles games were released for the PSP some years ago.

Meanwhile the World of Tanks Blitz is a mobile game available in both Android and iOS devices.
