Here Are The 3 New Features Arriving To Pokemon GO

Ever since the first release of Pokemon GO back in July, it amassed over 500 million downloads all throughout the world. It proved to be a massive hit -- a one of its kind so to speak. And yet, Niantic still plans to up the ante by introducing new features to the Augmented Reality mobile game. So before we go any further, here are the 3 new features expected to arrive anytime soon!

The Pokemon GO Buddy Feature

With this new Pokemon GO feature, players will have the capability to choose a certain Pokemon and have it with them alongside every journey. Simply put, it describes the kind of relationship Ash and Pikachu has in the anime version. The chosen creature will appear on the trainer's avatar (located in the profile). And as the two parties traverse the world, helpful bonus items such as candies are rewarded.

The Pokemon GO Appraisal System

Just recently, Niantic revealed that the upcoming Pokemon GO update will introduce the so-called Appraisal System. Through this feature, trainers will have an idea as to which Pokemon will work best in terms of attack and defense capabilities. And how will they know such detail? Well, that's through their respective Pokemon Team Leaders -- namely, Blanche, Candela and Spark. Thanks to this forthcoming system, players will have the opportunity to win any competition -- gym battles in particular.

The Pokemon GO Apple Watch

According to Vox, the hit mobile game Pokemon GO will arrive to Apple Watch. Both Apple and Nintendo announced the big reveal during the Apple event last Wednesday. This simply means that players will have the chance to catch Pokemon using the said device. Obviously, there's more to it than capturing creatures. Nevertheless, the specifics remain a mystery, but it's expected to arrive later this year.
