The LG V20 will be available in the United States soon. Already a number of carriers will have the new LG flagship phone. AT&T is the latest among the carriers which has announced that it will have the LG V20 in stock.
Verizon has been one of the first U.S. carriers to have shown interest in the new LG V20, according to Phone Arena. AT&T would like be left behind. As such, Verizon's competitor has also announced that it will carry the new LG smartphone as well. If AT&T does stock up on the LG V20, the carrier plans to place it in one of the fastest data speed plans it has - which is good news for subscribers.
AT&T is adding other features to the LG V20 as well. These features would include HD Voice 2, Advanced Messaging and Video Calling among others. The new LG flagship phone will also have Android Nougat out of the box.
The LG V20 still has a removable battery with it, as Android Headlines notes. This is one convenience that most people still look for, despite the increasing number of smartphones that have fixed batteries with them. The battery capacity is 3,200mAh, which is good enough for most smartphones now.
LG notes that the LG V20 is the first smartphone to be a quad-DAC phone. That means that it has four digital to analog converters inside it, which should provide people with very clear sound. This is most appreciated by those who also use their smartphones to listen to music.
The LG V20 comes with the Snapdragon 820 as its processor. It has 64 GB of internal storage and could be expanded up to 256 GB through microSD. It also has 4 GB RAM. Just like the LG V10, it will have a secondary screen above the main screen. The secondary screen is a ticker type screen wherein important reminders and events, among others can be displayed.
It has two cameras at the back. One is a 16MP camera with laser focus while the other is an 8MP camera for 135 degrees photos. On the front is a 5MP camera which can take photos in either normal or wide angle mode.
The release date of the LG V20 is speculated to be in Fall, though no specific date has been given. No pricing information has been given as well.
