Does Bethesda Still Plan To Release Fallout 4 PS4 Mods? Is Sony Holding Back?

Until now, the release date of Fallout 4 PS4 mods remains uncertain. Fans and gamers alike have no concrete idea as to when these will arrive. Heck, even Bethesda actually. Sure, the studio is committed to unleash them sooner or later; however, the big question that needs answer is: When?

As for Fallout 4 Xbox One players, they're certainly enjoying the excitement brought by modding. In fact, it has been three months since they acquired the capability to load and play various mods. PlayStation 4 owners, on the other hand, are still playing the waiting game.

Fallout 4 PS4 mods were supposed to be released back in June. Sadly, it faced a couple of issues, all of which are unique to Sony's system. From audio files not being supported to other technical glitches, it seems things are quite murky. Well, it actually was. Otherwise, owners of the said console would have been enjoying mods now.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, Bethesda officially announced that Fallout 4 PS4 mods beta testing will be delayed indefinitely. Whether or not it's going to happen, the studio has no solid statement to offer. They revealed in August, though, that the working process with Sony continues while evaluation phase takes place.

The good thing, though, is that the video game company doesn't intend to abandon the aforementioned Fallout 4 mods on the said console. The studio's very own Pete Hines confirmed that him, along with the people in Bethesda, "positively want to get PS4 mods out." Despite no certain date, he mentioned about bringing it to reality "as fast as humanly possible."

It also remains unknown if the issue behind these Fallout 4 mods are due to technical problem. Or perhaps, Sony was simply holding it all up for some strange reason. Either way, the release date of these mods to PS4 are still a mystery.

What do you think about the delay of Fallout 4 PS4 mods? Do you believe it was really Sony behind these hiccups? Let us know what you think at the comment section below!
