Marshadow is also rumored to be an eclipse Pokemon that will act as a counterpart to Solgaleo and Lunala. The word "Null" means nothing which could mean an eclipse.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Sept. 6 trailer also revealed Null, a new Pokemon which may be man-made as it has different parts to acclimate to varying environments. The official Pokemon site revealed that Null's mask is fitted to Type: Null's head which is a piece of equipment designed to control Null's latent powers. Null or Type: Null's existence and the description found in Pokemon's site was believed to be evidence that there is a lot more to the new Pokemon than what was revealed.
