"Red Dead Redemption 2" has been on developmental limbo and the public outcry for Rockstar Games to give an update has been the stuff of legends.
With such an ongoing debacle rumors have once again surfaced that a "Red Dead Redemption" remastered edition is on the works to quench the rabid fan base, according to Game N Guide.
The open world, western action-adventure video game which was released more than half a decade ago is speculated to have its remastered edition compatible with the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The CEO of Take Two Interactive, Strausss Zelnick was also mentioned in the website as he revealed that the "Red Dead Redemption" franchise is still alive and kicking.
An added rumor is that the game could be moving forward by obliterating the "Red Dead Redemption" title and substituting it with a more western approach of "Legends of the West," as mentioned in Vine Report.
Furthermore, the website said that an unexpected aide could come forward to help John Marston, the main central character of the video game. This playable character could also have a storyline of his or her own especially as the installment will be piped-up further with a new map which will cover a more substantial portion of the storyline.
Last June in Los Angeles for the E3 expo, all the buzz from a March rumor was killed when the event came and went without any official press release for the game.
These may not be official announcements especially as we should take into consideration that Rockstar Games have always been tight-lipped when it comes to their official releases. Remember "Grand Theft Auto 4" and "Grand Theft Auto 5"? These releases were not even broadcasted in expos like that of Electronic Entertainment.
Nevertheless, stay tuned to iTechpost for any updates on "Red Dead Redemption 2"!
