'South Park' Season 20 Rumors, Air Date: Donald Trump To Return On The Show; Series Set To Air On Sept. 2016?

Popular animated series South Park will be having its 20th season this month and rumors of Donald Trump's return is one of the hottest issues that fans want to know more about.

South Park, most notably known as one of the best satirical animated series to ever grace our TV screens, looks to be going strong even after 20 years. Season 19 of the animated show is considered one of the best in its 20-year run. Quite remarkable as most TV shows start declining in quality in just a few seasons.

Last year's season finale ended with a crazy gun battle by the townspeople. Season 20 will follow those events, as the characters will try to address the complications created in Season 19.

While Herbert or Janet Garrison will be the central character for the Presidential Campaign, many people are still wondering if they would still include Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the new episodes. You might remember in an episode of Season 19 titled, "Where My Country Gone?", is where Mr. Trump met an, shall we say, unsavory end.

So, will we see a comeback of some sort from the controversial Republican Nominee?

It certainly does not look that way if we quote the show's creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker from their interview with Daily Beast.

"When you're doing something that contemporary," Stone adds, "you're worried that it will drop out [of the news] the next week." They thought people might wonder why they were doing an entire episode about such a "marginal character" in the election. They did not expect he would go on to become one of the two major party nominees.

Stone then goes on to add that Donald Trump's grisly end was "pretty hardcore", and Parker adds that they do not know what else to do.

Well, let us hope they change their minds and come up with something, because last season was just amazing.

Season 20 will premiere on September 14, 2016, on Comedy Central.
